Muhammad (Arabic: محمد) (c. 570 - 8 June 632) full name: Abu al-Qasim Muhammad Ibn Abd Allah Ibn Abd al-Muttalib Ibn Hashim is a major figure in Islam. His name has also been spelled Mohammad and Mohammed. Muslims believe that he was God's final prophet, to whom the Qur'an was revealed. Non-Muslims consider him to be the founder of Islam.

Hadith (Sayings) is a term used primarily for collections of sayings of Muhammad-ur-Rasool-ul-(Al)lah (ibn Abdullah) that have been collected as guidance for followers of the Muslim traditions. There are thousands of hadith that have been attributed to him, but several famous collections are held to be more authoritative than others. Not all Hadith sources are considered authentic by all muslims, i.e. Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslims are not considered authentic sources by Shia Muslims.

It is in many ways comparable to Yeshua's or Isa's (Jesus Christ's) parable of the Good Samaritan.
